Famously, “No man is an island”
But there are those who deserve to be
Exiled for a whole lifetime’s remand
For their crimes against humanity
Their greed, hubris, crass stupidity
– Insanity may be an island
But no defence for crimes so clearly planned
By would be Kings in perpetuity
Building a court to destroy the land
Feathering the nest of their dynasty
Destroying hard-won democracy
No regard for how the future lands
– Against such Fascism we must surely
Draw the firmest red line in the sand…

Over at dVerse Poets Pub, Björn Rudberg (brudberg) in Meeting the Bar: Critique and Craft invites us to use negation as a poetic tool…

I can hardly bear to hear that man’s voice.
Absolutely, Marilyn, roll on the midterms and let it be a landslide…
Well, you know I totally agree, Andrew!!
We really do need such a blue tsunami that it can’t be questioned. The dark forces though are doing all they can to suppress voting. And unfortunately, there are a lot of ignorant people here.
That ignorance is unbelivable – but I think the Democrats need a thorough revision of their thinking too…
Maybe there is a possibility still on S.ta Helena…. that is an island for sure and it has been used before.
no man is an island but perhaps some should be. it’s not him though, he’s just a symptom. we must look deeper
You are right Andrew. The folks in power have little ability to discipline themselves. And since there is not one else the corruption continues like an ongoing reality show!
I agree with Dwight. It’s like a reality show that becomes real.
Sara, I think he infected minds with a virus starting with his TV show.
He’s a soul-less black hole of chaos.
