This blog has been running for several years now, it replaces my first blog “Ripple” on the blog site Mo’time which site was sadly terminated by new owners but where I made a great many friends, some of whom I still see on Facebook. My next offering “Of Cabbages and Kings…” never really took off due to not knowing how to reach out to other readers and this one, “How would you know…” – really took off as a result of participating in the 2020 A2Z Challenge. There, due to meeting some new friends and getting new ideas, the blog spread it’s wings a little. Following this year’s A2Z Challenge 2021, I have migrated from Blogger to WordPress in order to have more control over layout and the blog’s development, but all the old posts are here… Blogging for me, is as much about Friendship as Writing so please reach out through the Comments and I will come to visit you…
I live in West Yorkshire, England and still work two days a week despite having reached pension age, partly in Willie Wonka’s Gelato Factory (names have been disguised) and, courtesy of Covid 19, at home. If I thought semi-retirement would give me more time to blog I was sadly mistaken – as well as the blog, I have a couple of novels on the go, an allotment and a partner and family to devote time to.
I took the picture at the top of the site in Leeds Market, before the pandemic and I selected it for this purpose because this blog is a bit Pic’n Mix, as for sweetness – no promises. I do like using “-” to give a bigger pause than a comma, even if you are only reading in your head, the Oxford Comma, and the elipsis… You have been warned…
