Björn Rudberg (brudberg) in Meeting the Bar: Critique and Craft over at dVerse Poets Pub, invites us to write an Anagrammatic Poem,
- Select a title of one word containing not more than 3 vowels and 4 consonants.
- Try to find as many words that are using only the letter in the title
- Combine this into a poem of your own
- Do not use any punctuation in the poem
I picked the word Teacher – the artwork is created in Midjourney.
A wonderful take on the prompt. I love the last line. 🙂
Thanks Di, it was a great challenge – mind-stretching – I may try it again with a bit more time…
Love the choice word. Specially the description of:
chart care there
art create teach…
Thank you Grace, I think all teachers, if not all people, should be issued with a T-shirt with “Art, Create, Teach!”…
Teacher – a great word choice and I especially like the last line. teaching should be “art create teach”
My thoughts entirely – and not just occupational teachers but every human being…
I do love the hommage to the teacher.
Thanks Bjorn (sorry I can’t do the umlaut on your name on my phone)
Most excellently composed, Andrew. Most excellent indeed 😀

David
Thank you David – funny I thought of
he her each

as being more the paired couplet but that pairing reads too…
Teacher is an interesting word choice, seeing as I was one, and ‘hear react cheer’ and ‘art create teach…’ resonate with me. Nicely done, Andrew!
Thanks Kim – I have done odd bits of teaching here and there…
Well done, Andrew! Were you a teacher by any chance?
Here and there Dwight but only as a side gig… Thanks for visiting!
Nice one Andrew.
Thanks for dropping by my blog
Much🖤love
Andrew, the first line is the best line for me when I think of teachers.
All in the job Lisa all in the job…
What a great word to work with Andrew! Your poem makes perfect sense.
Thanks Carol – I can see that the results all depend on getting the right word to start with…
Love the art you chose … create is what teachers do! I thoroughly enjoyed your poem.
The poem looked so small and lonely I had to go to Midjourney and create a companion image Helen…
Great choice of word! I especially loved the penultimate line 🙂
Different lines have resonated with different people, from being unsure immediately after writing, I am now happy with all of it Dora, thanks for visiting…
